Hey There Sports Fans! Long Time No See!
Okay, so as most of you guys know, I don't update much, but when I do, people like to know what is going on in the wide world of Artemis Albrya. Well, here you go for you curious Deviant Watchers of mine! As some of you may have noticed, I've been gaining popularity here in the Cosplay world with my Red XIII and Two Face Costumes. Which is great! I actually won my very first award for a home made cosplay just this last week. When I was at Sakuracon 2011 I won the Judges Choice for Master Class, this was my first time competing in a competition at a large scale convention ever. So it came to my surprise when it was announced and I stepped up to get my award.
In other news, the local haunt in Portland Oregon - Fright Town, has offered me a personalized haunt for the house. The owner of the haunt asked me if it'd be okay for them to come up with their own personalized character and room for me. I told them that not only would I be happy, but I'd be proud to do some fun scaring for them! So we are under way to start brainstorming ideas for potential costumes and makeup ideas! It as also come to my attention that I want to go to school to be a special effects makeup artiest. I'm not so sure how I want to go about doing that, but I found out that I've got a talent in it.
While at Sakuracon 2011 I donned my Two Face makeup and worked at the Reg Line, what people saw there impressed them and a few even believed that I had burned my face so badly. I was rather impressed by the job and determined that maybe thats what I should go into work for. Who knows, maybe one day.
However, now I have to do a bit of a plug for myself, on Facebook I've decided to bring a little light to my name and posted an Artiest Page where you can look at my pictures of cosplay past and its going to be a place where I'm going to post news and progress pictures of future and upcoming costumes that will begin production soon! Otaku House Cosplay Idol Contest!
Vote Up guys! I'm trying to go for the Otaku House Cosplay Idol Contest! There I'm trying to get through the quallifying round and try to win to be the new Cosplay Idol! Okay, so I've had a few people ask me how exactly I did my costume, and me being very bored, wrote a description of the costume. WITH PICTURES!
Almost no work involved in the construction of the costume itself.

Made of cotton. Really easy, we took a harem pants design and modified it for a slightly higher waist, since I have no hips to hold my pants up. XD I did the leg "tattoos" with sharpie beca
